Surgery

Adenoidectomy

​

An operation to take out the adenoids which are small nodes at the back of the throat that trap and destroy germs. This operation can help your child if they get regular ear infections, snore or get (sinusitis) - A swollen or blocked nose.

 

Tonsillectomy

​

Is the surgical removal of the tonsils which are two-shaped pads of tissue at the back of the throat.

 

 

Tongue tie release

​

Involves the clinician placing a finger and thumb under the baby's tongue to clear access to the frenulum. The frenulum is then released with a small pair of sterile scissors.
